Hello

 Many moons ago my creative life started in Devon with Graphic design which then moved on to Fashion and illustration. London called me and I answered it; it brought me new opportunities and excitement for 25 years, but we outgrew each other and I headed to the East Sussex coast to start a new life in St Leonards on Sea with my wayward rescue hound called Myron....we love it.

Through my life I have always loved making gifts for people and that has shown me how much a 'personal touch' is warmly valued by the recipient. This led to the start of Studio Makepeace and to bringing those ideas to reality through prints, cards and design. Colour and words are my main inspiration, I love the twists that language can bring and as for colour, muted, bright, vivid or subtle it can change your mood and brighten your day.

I create to bring a smile, a happy thought, or just to add a bit of joy to life.
